For my 89th birthday, my children, grandchildren, and a handful of great-grandchildren gathered on the street to sing "Happy Birthday" to me. I couldn't see how blue their lips were, but I saw them moving. Though it wasn't as good as eating cake and ice cream with everyone, it warmed my heart to hear their warm wishes.
