As a piano teacher for more than 25 years, I was concerned that, because of corona, my students would fall behind. But what a delight it was when my students and I found a mutually beneficial solution. They taught me how to "correctly" and "professionally" use social media and I continued to teach.
A few students liked our lessons on the phone via Face Time and others on the iPad. Zoom was a big hit when it came time for performance events and recitals. I never would have had a reason to investigate or invest the time into technology had it not been for Covid-19.
We are never too old to learn or too young to teach.
